AutDHD (“we”, “us”) operates autdhd.com, a directory and community for autism and ADHD support in Hyderabad, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
Account data: username, name, email address, and a hashed password when you register. Provider data: professional details submitted through the provider application, published in the directory once approved. Forum content: anything you post in the community forum is public. Technical data: standard server logs and cookies necessary for login sessions.
How we use it
To operate your account, display approved provider listings, run the forum, respond to enquiries, keep the site secure, and send essential service emails. We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
Sharing
Provider listing details are public by design. We share data with service processors only as needed to run the site (web hosting, email delivery), and with authorities where legally required.
A note on sensitive topics
AutDHD is a directory, not a healthcare provider, and we do not ask for medical records. Please be thoughtful about what you share in public forum posts — in particular, avoid posting identifying medical details about your child.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf, by emailing hello@autdhd.com. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are for parents, caregivers, adults seeking support, and professionals. Accounts are for users aged 18 and over.
Retention & security
We keep account data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it on request. Passwords are stored hashed. We take reasonable measures to protect your data.
