Sudden increases in vocal sounds are common in autistic children and often temporary — triggered by excitement, sensory needs, stress, or a change in routine. Keep a simple diary for a few days: when it happens, what happened just before, what helps it settle. Reduce screen time and sugar, and continue regular therapy. If the sounds become distressing, constant, or interfere with daily life, take the diary to your child’s doctor — the pattern will help them far more than a description from memory.
